Two Signs

In recent months there have been a couple of developments that lead me to believe that The Tutu Boutique is becoming a force in the world of retail tutus.

The first sign revealed itself a couple of months back, an ebay store pays for clicks on the search term Tutu Boutique. The title of their campaign is The Tutu Boutique for less. Just between you and me, I have run up some clicks on their account, the Jack Asses.

The second sign are the sites popping up that are doing the exact same thing that we do. Promoting tutus, I do not mind, the site that promotes them best will win. What gets under my skin is the fact that the people behind this site spend so much time on our site and even here reading the blog.

Hi! and good luck with your new venture. You are a terrific supplier and working with you is a dream, you take terrific care in fulfilling your orders and I know about your new site. I see you combing the pages of The Tutu Boutique and reading the blog. They say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" whoever "they" are.

You do not need to sneak around, if you have any questions that need a direct answer please do not hesitate to ask.

Tutu Boutique has no customer service. Your store should think of the customer FIRST! How do you expect to compete when your service is NONEXISTENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Send me an email, I can't help if I don't hear from you. Your first contact with me is a complaint.

OK, I have gone back and see that you sent Heidi an email on Monday, I am sorry that you have not heard back from her yet. Are you waiting on an order or do you have a question concerning a product? I am happy to help.

We have been "combing"your site and even reading your blog looking for the right tutus for our flower girls and now feel unwelcome. Planning a wedding is a big job and we were hoping to buy some of your things but hope to come across some friendlier shop owners out there.

Good luck with everything. Planning a wedding can put a lot of pressure on a person that is for sure.

I'm not sneaking around. I tried to order a tutu on two occasions from you all and got a delayed response from Heidi - weeks LATER! When I tried again - then same thing, then she represented herself as making someone else's tutus, so I went directly to the source for less money.

Seriously, I love tutus - and I am ALWAYS looking for places to buy them for my daughter.. they aren't easy to find - not good ones.. but your tone here is crazed!!

Maybe you should be a little bit nicer when you're trying to sell a product that radiates fun and happiness.

Hollie,
I am not sure who you are or why you think that this post was directed towards you, it is not.
There are many people who spend lots of time on the site there is only one who has built their own which mimics Heidi's down to the categories and layout.
I am not sure that I was ever mean to you and if I were I apologize.

You deleted my comment?

Spend more time helping customers and less time combing my blog.

I haven't deleted any comments. What you see is what you get and give.

Someone from Tutu Boutique needs to respond to our emails quickly and act on them. You duplicate charged our credit card well before Christmas. Not only has the charge not been reversed when you immediately said it would, you have not returned any of our email since that time, and the order still has not delivered. I'm going to stop payment on the credit card is someone fails to contact me today. A. New.
